What’s been happening:

After attending Penn State on an Air Force ROTC scholarship I served on active duty until 2007. Along the way the Air Force also provided med school at Penn State's College of Medicine in Hershey (1996) and master's degrees in Forensic Science (George Washington University), Administration (Central Michigan), and Public Health (University of Texas). I'm back home in western PA since my retirement, working part-time as a doc in Pittsburgh, plus trying my hand at agriculture running a small orchard in Westmoreland County. I'm on the executive board for the Penn State Cooperative Extension for Westmoreland County, and on the county's Water Quality Advisory Council. I'm married to Becky Fritz, also from this area (a Pitt grad) and our daughter Emily will be a freshman in the College of Engineering at University Park this coming fall.
